My training in the visual arts is mostly self-taught. As I express my personal vision, I present to the viewer images which cause the viewer to question identity and meaning from abstract design to raw emotion. In this age of distant connections – connections without faces – and a crushing overload of images rushing at us – as we whirl through space and time, anticipating the next event, the next day, I attempt to halt the viewer and connect him to himself and his world in the moment.
My work has been shown in several juried exhibits in Arlington and the Legacy at the Trustees of the Reservation in Easton. I have exhibited in Charlestown, Arlington, and Lowell. I belong to the Artists’ League of Lowell, the Arlington Center for the Arts and the Zeitgeist Gallery in Lowell, MA. The Lowell Community Health Center has three of my photographs in its collection.
