BIO:
Linda Marks is a singer/songwriter and arranger known for her heart-to-heart style. Linda has performed at Boston’s major listening rooms from Scullers Jazz Club to Club Passim to the Burren to Club Café, and has been featured in the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine and on NPR. Billy Copeland Music writes, “Combining her pop freedom with her jazz sophistication, Linda Marks can impress the ear while soothing the soul.”
Linda’s sixth album produced with Doug Hammer at DreamWorld Productions, “In Grace,” is due out in September 2019. Linda is the co-founder of the Women In Music Gathering, an artist-alliance group, and is a LadyLake Entertainment Artist. www.lindamarksmusic.com
Linda teams up with guitarist Woody Carpinella integrating poignant originals with favorite covers, blending elements of jazz, contemporary folk, pop, bossa nova and gospel for an uplifting and inspiring mix. This duo performs frequently in listening rooms around New England.
